At Polytechnique, Ph.D students are required to take a few courses during the first year. As an Optimizer, I feel compelled to be a bit lazy, and I always seek for something quick and clear. Plus, since I am also first-in-class in terms of skipping lectures and doing homeworks at the last minute, I feel even more compelled to help future students.
